The Monet™ Pro Carmel canvas combines Masterpiece’s 1-1/2″ deep professional construction with a portrait-smooth, acrylic-primed cotton surface, designed for artists who value control, clarity, and consistency.

This canvas is stretched using Masterpiece’s proprietary MuseumWrap™ back-stapled method, producing balanced, drum-tight tension across the surface. 

The Carmel™ cotton is sized and double-primed with acid-free acrylic gesso, forming an impenetrable ground that prevents oil leaching while remaining flexible over time. The primer is pigmented with premium Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂), chosen for its superior brightness, longevity, and resistance to embrittlement.
